Alrihkh This is exceptional prog rock music—wonderfully progressive, intense & deeply captivating! The instrumental composition of the songs is amazingly cinematic & psychedelic. ‘The Hourglass’ has an out of this world synthesizer solo. Guitar sound & playing is great throughout. Percussion is very intuitive & sets just the right mood & pace in every song. The chemistry of the band is enviable! In the same camp as Anathema. Thanks, The Slow Light, for a truly awesome experience!

For Absence 05:11
You left this place Without a trace Of purpose Reflect the night On what went wrong You used to incubate your bad ideas And raise them strong For years In my dreams I see your face And every night before I wake and find That you're not here  It's painful When the time arrives In my sleep I grab a hold of what I can't forget And hold it close to me Goodbye Im struggling to find A reason not to miss you As your shadow turns away  I can't hold on to this Dream of mine
2.
You never thought you'd see The glass of sand Standing over your life You try to grab the time And feel what's left Sifting right through your hands Fade out Your time Incased by The hourglass As the sands divide You see your ending Of grains piling as memories When you looked at me And told me everything I see your time has passed Fade out Your time Incased by The hourglass What do I say? As the last grains are falling How do I answer you? How do we move forward from this? A silent ending Within a slow decay What do you feel? Show me your reflection

Liminal 09:26
My thoughts are repeating All alone I'm bleeding Walking down the pathway Dreading for the last day An empty place reminisce It didn't have to be like this The past and the later Wrap around me In silence Inside this mirror The memories lie within it Endless frames of daydreams Tangled through what I see The days start to blend in this Frozen place of imminence There's no separating This feeling from a dream Into the room that holds That dimmed amber memory Into a fall I am made To face this reality And now I'm locked in my inner cell Where I just can't pull away Please, will you awaken From your final breath The moment passes I'm afraid it's the end The light flicks away It's a tender ending Until we leave it here There's nothing to say Not for years A faint light To subtle glow All I can say Is I miss you It feeds on my sanity It feels a lie That I lost everything It feels a lie That I lost everything An end in a light bulb All I can reminisce is That luminous amber light My thoughts keep me convinced All I wonder is How have you been ever since?
4.
Colours fade grey The bar line has gone Watch the meaning fade All the trust has torn It all lost sense forever I feel that's all there is in life It all lost sense forever I feel that's all there is in life Pull the dying heart Behind the stained glass cellophane Watch the evening depart Quietly It all lost sense forever I feel that's all there is in life It all lost sense forever I feel that's all there is
5.
Your voice speaks in long silence Showing every moment over I cannot focus, could you turn it down? It's loud enough with you not around Three years later That maroon shirt, the one you gave me Well, ever since the colour has faded And the fabric has torn apart It doesn't fit how it did in the start Three years later That look you had, in your eyes It would be the last time of ours That broken sigh, that broken stare Did it hurt to leave it there? Because it never left me
6.
Denouement 08:32
I hear your voice beneath the mist I walked along that path again Down by the riverside This time may be my last Waiting Watching The river flow away May the stream take all this sorrow And lift me beyond the ether The stones are holders of my regrets A diary to hope that's lost They've seen a shade of what I am But In the end, it's all that has mattered Waiting Watching The river flow away Maybe I can watch it wash away And bring me past forever Now it feels so real I see your face in the stars One last moment One last time And all I've left behind Is some twine floating A homage to myself In shattered pebbles Of my memories For I am broken And I am only afraid My hope has faded If only I could explain it As the tides wash over me It's finally time to embrace it Farewell

about

LIMINAL marks a big sonic change of direction for the band, being the first release to include vocals.

The 6 track album is filled with energetic, somber and dark atmospheres that offer the listener a rollercoaster of sonic development, through a concept story that highlights the struggles of grief and existentialism.
